"Each year was more unbelievable and indescribable than the last"

Thank you for yet another epic experience in Chile. Each year has been unforgettable and unique. In our first year the dramatic landscape, remote location, your hospitality (the great food) and the massive brown trout left us in awe.

The second year felt like I was returning to see old friends and the fishing was equally inspiring- shared with my father. The 3rd year we fished more watersheds, found more "unfished" streams and caught more beautiful fish in 8 days than anyone would think possible.

Each year was more unbelievable and indescribable than the last. So many big fish, great water, adventure and comradery that I was worried that it would be all too familiar in my fourth year.

But this years trip was the most special. To share the grandeur of Patagonia, the warmth and friendship of your staff and the phenomenal fishing with my 12 year old son was one of the highlights of my life.

We also fished so many new pieces of water and even discovered a few new "secret" spots that I am convinced there is more world-class water north of Coyhaique than I can fish in a lifetime. We even abandoned our plan to head south for a few days fishing some of the "famous" rivers in favor of staying on the remote, uncrowded, trout-choked local streams.
