44°57’35” South Latitude, 72°23’30” West Longitude…a place of incomparable natural beauty

The Picacho Fly-fishing Lodge is located in the southern Eleventh Region of Chile, also known as Region of Aysen in the foothills of the Andes mountains within a valley which formed by the Picacho River. It is located 110 kilometers to the north of the City of Coyhaique.

The Lodge is located along the river bank within a wide-ranging private estate and nature preserve, where different species of native flora and fauna are found in incredible abundance. All this is within a mountainous geography and crystal clear waters that make this valley a natural paradise for those who are enthralled with this beautiful sport.

The adventure starts in the airport of Balmaceda, located close to the city of Coyhaique, where passengers will be received at the start of a fascinating 2 and a half hour trip along the “Carretera Austral” until reaching the pure waters of the Picacho River. From here, the jet-boats will guide our visitors along the exhilarating river route to the lodge.

Once in the lodge, visitors will enjoy the personal attention and the unique natural surroundings that make this an ideal destination for an unforgettable fly-fishing experience.
